The measles epidemic in my household is finally over! February and March had some challenging moments as I watched both my children move through their illness in very different ways. I am continually amazed at how different they are. My youngest, Sarah, who did the measles stint in February, quietly got on with being sick. Chloe on the other hand did not and fought her illness and thus her recovery.

This entire episode highlighted for me the power of belief and how our thoughts, words and actions influence our lives on a very physical level. As I watched Chloe fighting and questioning her illness, I was amazed, and to be honest, frustrated, to witness how she prolonged the entire experience and was ill for three weeks instead of two. Having been through one episode of measles I felt like an expert and had all the remedies lined up, all that supports the body, but it took some time to work through the issues of the mind. Thankfully she did it and has now shifted to a wonderfully different level of being.

In reflecting on this last month I realised that Chloe’s resistance to change was a pattern that she learnt from the ‘old’ me and through the measles experience she was given an opportunity to release this pattern of belief. In the past one of my biggest challenges was embracing and welcoming change, even when I knew that change would be good for me I resisted. As I followed my path of self discovery and healing I have come to realise that change is inevitable, that everything about myself is in change, constantly.

In these times of change we often cannot see the path that we are following. We have no idea of the outcome and this has the potential to create fear and resistance within us. On my journey I have learnt that what we experience always has purpose. That we may not always clearly see the way forward, but as we strengthen our connection to the Divine Creator our ability to trust in ourselves increases and we discover the courage required to move forward into our future.

As this next phase of our journey begins I encourage you all to embrace the changes in your life as a celebration of your growth.

Welcome to our March Newsletter.  Thank you all for your comments, emails and messages, it is always a pleasure to hear your views and opinions and I ask that you do not hesitate to post your comments on the Spirit Pathways Foundation site. 

 For me personally, February was a challenge.  My daughter contracted measles and was extremely ill for two and a half weeks.  Although I was very concerned and hovered around like a mother hen, I did allow her to move into her illness unheeded by conventional western medicine.  My homeopath, Rebecca, was a source of great comfort to both of us and reassured me of the importance of this childhood disease and the huge benefits of my daughter being allowed to process, release and heal herself and thus the entire family.

 Through this experience I was reminded of the importance of allowing time and space to process and heal.  It is often through physical illness that the sins of the past are cleared and released allowing for the birth of a new way of being, not only for oneself, but also for all others.  This reminds me of the very clear fact that as we heal ourselves, we heal our world.

 One of the gifts our children bring is the opportunity to remember and it is through my own children that I have been reminded again and again of the importance of remembering who I am and what I am here to do.  My own personal journey of healing began with the birth of my children.  This has been a true blessing and I certainly would not be the person that I am today without the deep wisdom and knowledge that they continue to share. 

 Once again earthquakes have rocked parts of our world and as I observe my children moving through their world I am reminded again that the only real and lasting thing is Love.  As the people of Haiti, Japan and Chile rebuild their lives I pray that we all awaken to love and rebuild the foundations of our own lives with love.

Welcome to the first of our new look newsletters.  Many changes at Spirit Pathways have been in the pipeline for the past year and towards the end of 2009 a sudden shift occurred and some exciting projects where birthed.  With the help of my good friend, Johan, we have created a sister website www.spiritpathwaysfoundation.com, where we will be offering lots more information, articles and messages, as well as different advertising and subscription options, as well as a recommended listing directory for your business or practice.  Please take a look at the Spirit Pathways Foundation website to view all the different options and to register as a member.

As we come closer to the closing of this year we enter into another cycle in our evolutionary journey.  As time speeds up our growth and development as Spiritual beings is accelerated and we are able to access more of the essential aspects of our true essence.

The 8th of November 2009 is marked by the Mayan Calendar as the beginning of the 6th Night which will last until November 2nd 2010.  It is a period that is expected to be very transformative and at the same time may be rather challenging as the old ways are released and new paths are created.  The emphasis of this cycle of the calendar will be on BEING rather than on doing and our challenge will be in allowing our past systems to be released and finding new ways of being that are in alignment with the flow of energy moving us forward along our journey.  For more information on this cycle check out the following links. www.calleman.com and www.maya-portal.net.

This months channeled article talks about the new pathways of energy being created around our Earth.  These pathways of energy are created by our Divine Creator and channeled through our heart centers into the energy grid surrounding the planet.  This grid is likened to a matrix which holds all the intentions, patterns and beliefs that we are recreating to enable the healing of our world and to sustain our life on Earth.  Our part in this recreation is vital and it is imperative that we cleanse our energy bodies as well as heal ourselves of all negativity and fear so that we may channel pure divine love and create a world of peace.

July 2009

 July and August certainly promise some interesting times as we experience the energy of three eclipses within a 7 week period.  The first eclipse on the 7th July will be a Lunar Eclipse but will only enter the southern most tip of the penumbral shadow and shall be very difficult to observe visually.  The second eclipse on the 22nd July will be a total Solar eclipse and will be the longest total solar eclipse for the next 123 years.  The totality of the eclipse will be 6 minutes and 39 seconds.  Fifteen days later there will be another Lunar eclipse on the 6th August.  As is the case with the Lunar eclipse in July, this one won't be visible to the unaided eye.

 This period announces the opening and closing of a gateway through which we may journey to the stars, gathering information, understandings and memories of our true star nature enabling us to awaken this nature within our physical lives here on Earth.  For more information and detail on this period, please read the channeled article below.

It has been quite a month since our last newsletter.  On the 30th of May, here in Cape Town, we had 55 Pilot (False Killer) Whales beach themselves which resulted in the shocking shooting of some 44 of the whales.  I was one of the volunteers working with the whales on the beach and it was devastating to watch as the authorities took it upon themselves to 'euthanize' the whales. 

 As the whale enters our hearts with love, the message they bring is quite timely for where we are on our evolutionary journey.  We have a mutual purpose with our Whale friends, that of caretakers of this beautiful Earth planet.  The Whale helps to ensure that there is unity among all life forms and enables us to access a state of pure love.  Whales value and cherish all of life and respect and honour that which keeps them alive.  Their larger plan is to assist humanity in caring for all living things and as such they take action in the hope that people will be so appalled by the killing of the whales that we will rise to the challenge of protecting life here on Earth and prevent these senseless deaths and the subsequent deaths of all the species that will become extinct if the cetaceans die.

 We are being given the opportunity now to find new and better ways of looking after our world, our Earth Mother and the many creatures who live upon Her body.  What action will you take?  Can the death of these whales be celebrated with the knowledge that the hearts of many have been opened?  Has compassion and dedication been awoken?  What more needs to happen for us to wake up?

 The June Solstice is upon us determining for us the midpoint of the seasons.  During the Solstice of June 2009 we are being gifted with an opportunity to move through a doorway into a new state of conscious living.  The channeled article below explains this in more detail - Rite of Passage - Solstice of June 2009

 I wish for this Solstice be filled with the loving light of the Divine Creator, our Great Spirit and for the blessings of unity, peace and joy to pour into our hearts, awakening us to the beauty of this life.

This is turning out to be an exceptional year!  So much transformation and change, so many new awakenings.  It truely is a gift to be here on our beautiful Mother Earth at this time.

 It is the Spring / Fall Equinox again and the energies are flowing beautifully allowing us all to access deeper aspects of ourselves as well as affording us further opportunities for growth and development.  I received a very powerful email from a friend speaking of the One Heart Dance being held in Israel by Roy Littlesun. 

"This event may be the prophectic "war of all wars" that, when it is truly won....must be the Decisive-Battle-Within....to be engaged by the Warriors of Peace.  So, since it has to be won for the World, it is cardinal that people from around the World support the "Battle" with burning a candle or keeping a fire alive during the 24 hour dance at Mitzpe Ramon, Israel."

August 2008

July seemed to have passed by so very quickly.  The fact that I was away from home and traveling in Canada may have had something to do with the feeling.  I am now back from a very wonderful and relaxing working holiday and ready to embrace the next phase of our journey.

August is an intense month with the Solar Eclipse, the 8:8 Stargate and the Lunar Eclipse.  All this powerful energy is certain to create major changes within and without.  Take a look at the latest channeled message for August - The Awakening of Humanity's Heart for a clearer understanding of the energy of this time and how it is affecting us.

The energy of June is certainly a turning point for many on their paths and an exciting aspect of these changes is the opportunity for us to begin anchoring in the Human Light Being into our physical bodies.  For more information on this please take a look at the latest channel article - Human Light Beings.

The Mayan Calendar describes the energy as a time of us entering into the core days of the Mayan calendar.  The following is from a newsletter I received from Aluna Joy and relates to the energy of these core days :

"The only way to describe the core days is to exploit an overused word, intense, as these days teach us how to live in the now. There is no time for the past and no time for the future. Forward progress can be difficult for some. We may need to clear resistance to the future frequencies coming directly after this 20-day cycle. We may find ourselves rethinking things we thought we had previously understood. If we resist being here, now, we will discover challenges. Things may become confused, as we are operating from a simultaneous merging of the past and the future. If we flow with it, we can accelerate our personal process. The core days offer great opportunity to work with our chakras, helping to activate the Kundilini. The core days are our umbilical cord to the energetic center of the galaxy, the Pleiades. The core days are an accelerated opportunity to work on all levels of our mastery and to perceive more clearly our ascension process. "

A call has been send out from the Star Elders and people around the world to gather together and stand as one in what is being termed 'The Gathering of One'.  This ceremony is from the 17th - 21st of June and we are encouraged to connect with this energy to create a global shift on the Solstice to usher in the Golden Age of Peace.

The concept of service is currently top of mind at present and the question 'how can we be of service in our world' should be the question we ask ourselves at all times.  Part of our purpose here on our beautiful planet is to be of service to the light and to bring that light into form in our physical bodies.  My understanding of this teaching is this:  

As beings of light we are required to heal our internal separations which in turn heals our external separations enabling us to have greater access to the light and love of our Creator, the Great Spirit.  As we gain access to more light so we are able to carry higher frequencies of light and energy thus consciously or unconsciously sharing  this light with our world.  

The latest channel 'Our True Path of Service' gives information relating to the energy of the 10:10 Stargate which opens with the New Moon on the 5th of May 2008 and closes just after the Full Moon on the 23rd of May 2008.  This Stargate offers us an opportunity to go within and to discover our own unique and individual path of service.       

"Man does not govern Nature, Nature governs mankind. Human laws are temporary but the Creator’s Laws are permanent. This is a cosmic reality. The first time the world was purified by fire, the second time it was purified by water, the third time it will be purified by the Earth itself. April 2008 saw a abnormal number of earthquakes around the globe and this seems to me to be part of the third purification process that we are part of.  There are many prophecies that state that we are in a time of great change and transformation leading up to the Mayan calendar predictions for 2012.  My prayer is that we shall awaken to the gifts bestowed upon us by the Great Spirit, our Creator and use these gifts to heal ourselves, our world and the damage and destruction of our Earth Mother.

May we all walk in beauty, harmony and peace, with respect for all forms of creation.

We are entering into some very exciting times and the Equinox and Full Moon on the 21st of March is setting out to be one of the most powerful Stargates to date.  For more information please read our latest Channeled message at http://www.spiritpathways.co.za/equinoxm08.html. 

Ancient traditions understand that the EQUINOX is a powerful time to initiate changes in our material world and shift into new reality. Feminine Divine

In April Earth World will be holding The Feminine Divine Workshop.  The details are as follows:

Wow!  The energies of this year are certainly creating some seriously exciting changes!  In keeping with the energy of change, the Spirit Pathways website has had a make over.  Have a look and let us know what you think!   

It seems that we are certainly in for some awesome times this year.  2008 promises to be  time of new beginnings, new possibilities and new growth.  We are coming full circle bringing past life events and cycles to closure and carrying the wisdom and knowledge gained into our new lives.

It may have felt that things began spinning out of control with the energies of January but that time gave us the opportunity to examine the way our energy is working or not working.  A time to let go of negative attitudes, behaviours and limiting thoughts, urging us to enter into the stillness within and to refuse to surrender our personal authentic y.  We have been given time to notice the energy flows we place ourselves in and whether these flows are in harmony and balance within our hearts, minds, bodies and souls.  Allowing us time to flow backwards and see where we have floated away from our certainty, wisdom, instinct and inner knowing.
